Orangemen demonstrating at a stonelaying ceremony at Edgebill threw stones afc Dr. llichard Downey, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Liverpool, and struck onlookers, including ;i. Girl Guide, who was hit heavily on the head. Si.e ptood at attention until Dr. Downey had passed, and then collapsed.
