P. J. Amodeo, pleaded guilty. Senihr-S'ergeant J. Fox : said ■ that Miss Gibbs had left her suit-case at Sutnner, had gono away for a few minutes, and on return it had disappeared. In the other cases money had befin extracted from the' coats of two young women at Sumner. Restitution ■ had boen .made, however. . ilr Amodeo said that accused's employer waß prepared to ta"ko him back under his apprenticeship if granted probation. Counsel ttßked for Suppression of accused's name. The Magistrate said thatr accused would bo admitted to-probation for two years. Suppression of his name would bo refused. COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. Robert James Mitchell, labourer, 25 years of age, was charged with breaking and entering by "night the shop of Charles Ernest Steans, at Little River, 1 and committing thtft therein.
