Devices for removing the juice from oranges and lemons are well known. Recently a machine was invented which peels thq oranges without injuring the pulp or extracting any of the juice. Peeling the orange before extracting the juice makes it possible to squeeze "a larger percentage of juice from the remaining pulp, because greater pressure can be applied. There is also a machine—an old-fashioned one—which pulverises the skin, pulp, pith, pips, and all, and makes a good drink.
