"TRUE TO THE NAVY." "True to the Navy," which will open today at t(ie Liberty, is undoubtedly the most amusing and entertaining of Clara Bow pictures. Sh« is cast as the queen of a drug store fountain. There she smiles at all the .sailor boys nnd they remain to eat Pineapple Temptations. For a time Clara has a sweetheart on every ship, and on every ship there is a sailor who thinks he has a sweetheart in San Francisco. And everyone is happy. That is, until the entire Pacific Fleet ib unexpectedly ordered to San Francisco. Then things begin to happen, for all the boys rush to Clara £nd her Pineapple Temptations. Among them is Gunner McCoy, whom Clara doesn't even know. And when the Gunner finds out that Clara has tricked all the sailors of the fleet, he sets out to give her a lesson that will last her a life-time. There is a well-executed, surprise twist to the picture's climax that is sure to delight audiences overy where. "The Lone Rider," a breath-taking, alltalking "Western," with the hard-riding Buck Jones in the main role, is the second feature. The film is a dcpictioi\ of tho colourful days of '49.
