ALLEGATION FROM WANGANUI. ' (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM ) WANGANUI, June 26. At the Winter Show to-day Robert Ireland, of Gonville, is alleged to have •been persuaded to draw cheques for amounts totalling nearly £2OO to purchase an interest, in a. dart-throwing game. The show secretary tried to intervene rat one stage, but it>is said Ireland was. confident that; everything was clean and jibove board. Later in the day he became suspicious and tried to stop . payment of •; the cheques, feut was too late. - -
