J ones presided. , Messrs W. Clothier, D. M. Mcßae, and J. H. Griffiths were appointed delegates to the Lawn Tennis Association. Officers were" elected as follow^: dent, Mr J. W. Beanlaiid; club captains, Mis? E. Bonnington and Mr J. Sliier; secretary,, Mr W. A. Ross; treasurer, Mr D. M. Mcßae: Management Committee, Mrs IX M McEae and Misses A.' Douglas and H. Thompson, and 'Messrs A. M. Iriwood, E. McQueen, W. Clothier, G. Wincl)g«ter, T, G. _ W. Wilkinson"; auditor, Mr" J. H. Griffiths; delegates to the Bowling, Croquet, end Tennis section, Messrs i. M. Inwood, D. M. Mcjiae, and J. Shier. A proposal that the subscription should bt! £1 log, reducible to entrance fee at Cs for ladies and 10s for men, but with no entrant fee if the new member brought a clearance from a club affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association, and 22? 6d, reducible to £l, with an enti&Ece fee of 5s for juniors, which wa« moved by Mr J. H. Grifilths, was carried. Another motion passed was that the subscription for junior members be 22a 6d, to be reduced to £1 jf paid on or before December 31stj» such junior members to have full playing rights. It was decided to allow primary school children to play on th? courts during restricted hours, at a fee of 6s a year.
