Muirson. The results of the cluU competitions were: —Singles, J. T. Bisman; doubles, "W. Chapman and H. A. Bishop; rinks, L. Lawrence, (J. Lawrence, W. Whiteley, and 1L Patftick; colts, W. H. Summer Sold; Greenslade ferns, A. Watson, L. Lawrence, W. Chapman, and - H. Bishop; Jackson buttons, L. Lawrefice and M. Pat trick; Williams shield, B;' Pearson, A.. M. Chi vera, B. Smith, and M. Pattrick; rooster, F. Barrett. ; * In the inter-club games six rinks were entered in the Centre's pennant competition, and mot with fair success. Congratulations are extended to Mr .F. Muirson, the selector. In .tho inter-, borough competition Sumner defeated New Brighton, and in the annual Tekaro shield match the Commercial Travellers wtere successful.. The report states that the opening of the green for Sunday play has not been as successful as was anticipated, the conditions of membership evidently having been unsuitable. The purchase of a motor mower* had, been justified by the keenness of the' playing service. Thanks are due to the following who have shown interest in the welfare of tho club; Mr A. W. Owles, for the gift of a new house flag, Mr W. Barnett for coaching young players, Mr J. A, Cooko for his donations and interest, Mrs T. Bisman and other-women, and Mr W. Dean for the use of hisgas heater. \ •• . - . A notice of motion submitted by Mr E. E. Hollo way reads as follows: "That in the interests of the club ladies be' admitted to membership, play to . be' allowed on Mondays, .Tuesdays,. Thnrs-, days, and Fridays, between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m., at a fee fo be decided upon by the members.' *
