HAURAKI SEAT.
THREE CANDIDATES IN FIELD.
(press association telegram.) AUCKLAND, April 30. The Country Party will contest the Hauraki by-election, Mr A. A. Ross, of Mission Bay, being chosen as its cshididate at a meeting of delegates at' Papatoetoe. The other candidates so far announced are Messrs "W. W. Massey (Reform) and C. E. Petrie (Labour). A further ballot for the selection of a Labour candidate for the Grey Lynn seat is to be held as a result of the ballot held at the beginning of the year, when Mr J. A. Lee, formerly member for Auckland East, was selected, having been upset as a result of an informality.
