ALL ARTS CLUB.
♦— DEMONSTRATION CONCERT. A demonstration concert by members of the All Arts Club was held on Saturday evening, when an interesting programme of vocal and instrumental items was performed. There was a good attendance, and the items ot the' various performers were well received. The best item of the evening was the ban. tone duet, "Early ,Morn" (Ireland), by Messrs Arthur Smith and F. Very interesting aUo were three exercises in unaccompanied contrapuntal singing by members of the singing class, and these were some* thing new to most of the hearers. Other vocal numoers were an Italian partBong by the singing class, "Will 0' the Wisp" (Spross), by Miss Bertha Harrison, "O Divine Redeemer" (Gounod) by Mrs E. MoOlelland, and "Ave Maria" (Kahn) by Miss Adele Wellard-King, and all were well sung. Several piano solos were also played, including "Valse Rustique" (Coleridge-Tay-lor) by Jtiss L. Harker, "Cradle Song" (Schubert-Galway) by Miss E. Norton, "Mazurka in A Fat" (Chopin) by Mrs E. Brown, and "1820 A.D.," from "Sea Pieces" (MacDowell). Tho club's itring orchestra played Schubert's "Serenade in D Minor" and Beethoven's "Minuet in G" with good tone. "Who's in There!" a fifteen minutes' farce, written for the occasion by Miss Lucy Cowan, was performed by members of the dramatic class under her direction, with the following cast:—Mrs Claire Priddy, Mrs Edith Cowan, MisSes Nell Gillespie, Jessie Anderson, Muriel Hutchinson, Elsie Rutter, and Lillian Cookson, Messrs Elmsly Williams, Donys Cow, Ronald Foster, Nelson Mowatt, and M.
