MURDER CHARGE.
REMANDED UNTIL TOMORROW.
A further remand until to-morrow was granted when Alfred James Stanley Colenso appeared at the Magistrate's Court on Saturday morning charged with the murder, on September 3rd, at Lake Coleridge, of Robert William Cockbum. Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M . was on the Bench. Colenso was represented by Mr W. J. Stacey. On the request of Chief-PetectJte J. Carroll, a remand was granted until to-morrow, Mr Stacey consenting. Arthur Edward Farquharson, Colenso'b companion, was charged immediately afterwards that on September 4th, 1980, at Cass, he was deemed to be an idle and disorderly person, having insufficient lawful visible tfteans of support. lie was remanded also until tomorrow, Mr Stacey, who appeared for him, consenting.
