REGENT THEATRE.

"ONLY 4 THE BRAVE." The talking picture version of Kecne Thompson's story of the days of the Civil War, "Only the Brave," will be the next featured attraction to be presented at the Regent Theatre, and will open at that theatre next week. Gary Cooper and Mary Brian have the leads, and seem to step with the greatest ease into this delightful romance of Northern soldier and Southern lady. To on* joy completely every scene in "Only tho Brave," it is necessary to know that in the period of this play a Northerner was anathema to a .Southerner, and when a Southern lady so far forgot herself as to fall in Jove wtih an enemy, and a spy at that, she had committed a very grave misdemeanour. The plot is based on that always (as cinating spectacle, a "man torn between love and duty, Every woman in the audience knows that he will ultimately throw every cap over the mill for love. It makes a perfectly engrossing and colourful story. The box plans tor "Only the Brave" aro now open at The Eristol Piano Company. ' • "TEMPLE TOWER.'* "Temple Tower," at pi-esent showing at fie Regent Theatre, tells of the further adventures of Bulldog Drummond and his companions, "Sapper's" books are a fruitful field for producer* of talkie "thrillers." The; present picture has been done very well indeed, and Kenneth . McKenna scores a triumph as the. genial Bulldog.
