W Hervev) at noon yesterday, and these were the onlv two received. I At tho last general election on Janu- . ary 13th, 1930, there were 21,318 names on the roll. In preparation for this election, approximately 2000 names have been added and about the same number removed through changes of property. Altogether there will be between 26,000 and 27.000 votes available. ■ There will be 23 polling booths established in the Central Sub-division, which includes tho City area and Riccarton. The hours of polling are from a.m. until 6 p.m. While the term of the present Trust members would ordinarilv not expire until January. 1933. there is a Bill now before Parliament providing for a chancre to a triennial election. _lf this Bill is enacted, the next election will take place in May, 1932.
