SOCIAL AND PERSONAL. Mrs George Hart (Wai-iti road) has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs W. H. Walton, and Miss Dorothy Walton (Park lane) have returned from Dunedin. Mißa Hunfer-Wcston", Who spent a week at Mount John, has returned to "Highthorn." Miss Jessie McKenzie (Otumarama), who was the guest of Miss Hunter: Weston at Mount John, has returned home. Miss Nancy Guillies (Mayfield) has' left for Sydney, where she will join the Euripides, en route for South Africa. Mr and Mrs Bruce Murray (Godley Peaks), and Mr and Mrs Gerald Murray (Benjmorte), will be the guests of Mrs Edgar Jones (Otiritiri) for the races next Saturday. The following have been recent guests at the Dominion Hotel: Messrs G. Wright (Wellington), L. J. Coxon (Christchurch), and H. Batcliff (Dunedin). Eecent guests at the Grosvenor .Hotel include Mr and Mrs E. Moen (Dunedin), Mr and Mrs A. P. Simester (Wellington), Messrs A. E. Phillpot (Wellington), A. M. Burton (Auckland), W. Hope (Blenheim), F. Brandt (Christchurch), E. T. Duthie (Dunedin), J. Itobertson (Wellington), C. W. White (Auckland), and J. Henshaw (WaiI kuku).
