WINTER SHOW.

OPENING AUGUST 9TH. The organisation of this year's Winter Show and Exhibition is now well ii hand, and August 9fch will witness the opening of the greatest display of primary and secondary industries ever seen in Christchurch. Instructive, yet very entertaining, the displays will prove interesting to all who attend. Bright musical programmes and varied entertainments are being arranged, while the many side-shows and brilliant decorations will transform the vast Barracks into one huge carnival. Every effort is being made to surpass the wonderful record established by last year's show and exhibition and, as exhibits will be bigger and better, musical programmes brighter, side-shows more varied, and attendances greater, the promoters are confident it will be done
