Over three hundred were injured, ten seriously, in a clash between police and Congress demonstrators at Bombay. Hundreds of mounted and foot police charged a mob of several thousand who attempted to hold a procession to celebrate the mutiny of the Garwhali troops. The heads of the procession were arrested and the police obtained control of the situation after a fight wlu'ch lasted two hours. THE CONFERENCE ON INDIA. A NEWSPAPER'S DEMAND. (Received July 13th, 11.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 12. The "Observer" demands that every political party in Great Britain must be represented at the India conference. The Dominions are directly concerned, and the whole future life of Australia and New Zealand is deeply affected.
