The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" states-Crimino-logical experts are now in grave doubt about Kuerten's connexion with the Dusseldorf atrocities, despite his confessions, The police are unable to connect Kuerten with the murder of the girls, and ther- is a doubt as to the trustworthiness of the identification by two women survivors. [A cable message from Berlin on Mav 2oth stated that a workman named Peter Kuerten had been arrested, and had confessed to ten murders and to ten assaults on women.]
