Reid 67, H, Johnson 65; total ' Southbridge—W. Carter 68, W. Campbell 65, G. Gilbert 61, W. Reese 62, 0. Free 63, A. Balneave 65, A. Greenwood 67, H. Hickman 64; total 515. Majority for Leeston, 1. METHVEN CLUB. At the Methven Miniature Rifle Club's weekly shoot the Club Cup was won by W. Lumsden after a shoot-off with J. Rouse. The best scores in this match were: W. Lumsden 73 (handicap 7), 74, J. Rouse 75 (5) 74, H. Noble 78 (1), M. Holland 78 (1). S. Hyland 77 (1). The hotty button was won by S. Hyland with a score of 78, the runner-up being M. Holland with 7-7. _ The first shoot-off for the Tisdall Cup was fired, the best scores being: H. Noble 80, Rouse 78. . .... . " The club championship competition has reached the half-way stage, and is now In an interesting position. _ The following are the leading scores: —S. Hyland 700, M. Holland 705, H. Noble 701, J. E.
