FINE OF £SO IMPOSED. (PRIFS association ti/.igrah.) AUCKLAND, July 8. Ada Lurline Catherine Upfold (24), a married woman, was fined £SO for keeping a common gaming-house at Mount Eoskill. When the police called, the result of the first race at Wellington was coming in by radio. The woman had booked bets on the winner and the runner-up.
