GOLF.
AMBERLEY V. AMURI. During the week-end a match was played on Amberley links between the Amuri Club and the Amberley Club. - In the lftdies' matches Amuri won five singles and two fourball, and Amberley one single and one fourball. In the men's matches Amuri won Si singles and two four-ball, and Amberley won 2J singles and two four-ball. RAKAIA CLUB. The Ralcaia Golf Club will play the July medal competition on Saturday. The following is the draw:—A. Christianson plays J. S. Connolly, D. Finlay L. O. Oakley,' H. R. Wilkinson plays A. Corbitt, W. Wilkinson plays R. Doig, H. A. Harrison plays C. C. Holmes, L. The draw for a stroke competition for junior players is:—Dr. Bagley plays R. A. Oakley, D. Harrison plays J. Blackley, T. Connolly plays G. Healey, L. Morrison plays R. Harrison, W. L. Harrison plays A. T. Richards.
CHRISTCHURCH LADIES' CLUB,
In the semi-finals of the Godby Bowl competition,' Miss D. Chrystall. beat Mrs G. Fleetwood, 1 and Mrs B.'J. Sampson beat Miss M. Stevens. The final was played at Shirley yesterday afternoon between Miss Chrystall and Mrs Sampson, and after a very close game Mrs Sampson won by a putt on the 18th green.
AMURI LADIES' CLUB. The following is the draw for the monthly medal match to be played on July 9th or 13th by members of the Amuri Ladies' Golf Club: —Mrs Penwell plays Miss Hill, Mrs Macfurlane plays Mrs Thomson, Miss Hiatt play* Mrs Bethell, Mrs Jelfs plays Mrs Dearden, Mrs Gould plays.Mrs Oliver, Miss Polhill plays Mrs Rogers, Mrs G.
