GUN CLUB.
WAIHAO FORKS. The annual general meeting of the Forks Gun Olub was held on Thursday evening, when Mr G. A. McCulloch presided over a representative attendance. The position of the 'club was shown to be in a sound condition both financially and in membership. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr J. Bitchener, M.P.; president, Mr G. A. McCulloch: vice-presidents, Messrs E 0. d'Auvergne, S. F. Hanson, S. M. Dixon, and A. Gormnn;. handicapper and referee, Mr D. Tnvendale; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. McDonell; fteneral committee, Messrs D. and J. Tavendale, R. Donegal), 9. 0, Harrison. .T. Christie, L. Gorman, W. S. Jonos. and W. White. Votes of thanks were passed to tho trapper and referee for their work during the year. A committee meeting followed, when it wag agreed to hold the opening shoot on Thursday, May 22nd.
