NAVY LEAGUE.
CANTERBURY BRANCH
The Canterbury (N.Z.) branch of the Navy League met last night, Mr J J. Dougall presiding. Others present were Mesdames Algar Williams, A. E. Wyatt, H. T. J. Thacker, Miss Creswell, Messrs A. C. Maxwell, W. J. Le Cren, A. MacGillivray, T. B. Hume, J. Graham, H. L. Bowker, J. F. Studholme,'' T. H. Foster, and the Rev. A. H. Morris.
The statement of receipts and payments showed a credit balance at the bank of £159 lis 10<J, as at December 12tli, 1929. Since that ,date receipts amounted tr> £ll9 14s lid, and payments to £152 6s lid. leaving a total credit balance of £126 19s lOd.
