'SYDNEY, February 14. Fierce storms in the central tablelands have caused much damage in many places, and -have dislocated miles of telegraph and telephone lines.
As much as five incEes of rain were recorded at some stations. The deluge was accompanied by hail at times, and the streets of-several , small towns wen soon Harden and Mutrumburrah suffered particularly; Stock losses are feared jko be" heavr in some districts.^
