Four'new consumers" had been added, and seventeen additions made. The increase in. load was 37.675 . kilowatts: The installation work consisted of 23 lighting points, three i h.p. motors, one i h.p. motor, two heating points, two ranges, arid one -water-heater. In the Paparua area, eight new street light! had been erected at Hornby. The extension of the high tension line along the Main South road, Sockburn, had been proceeded with. Mr' Hunt reported having conferred with Mr Fowler, of Halkett, in reference to the cost of erecting a line to serve his place. An arrangement had been entered into under which a light line would be run .at a cost of £3O. _.'... The engineer was- authorised to proceed with the erection of a line to serve Rolleston when the necessary tuaranteoe were rf eelved. ' A request was received from the Post and Telegraph Department that certain alterations Should be made to lints on Day's road.
