ENGINERING REORGANISATION. (UNITED PRESS A-iSOCIATIOX-BY ELECTBIC TELEORAFH—COPY RIGHT.) SYDNEY, February 11. The Railway Commissioners have decided to amalgamate the engineering branches, involving the retirement ot Dr. Bradfield, chief of the metropolian railways construction, and Mr r < Wickham, chief of the railways and tramways construction. The joint branches will be placed under Mr Rankin, engineer-in-chief ot the existing lines. Dr. Bradfield retains his position aB engineer-m-eharge cf the harbour bridge construction. The amalgamation makes possible considerable administrative economics.
