ARRANGEMENTS FOR SHOW.

A meeting of the committee of the Amuri A, and P. Association w»» held in the Rotherham Public Hall on Thursday evening, when tha president, Mr 6. Whit«, presided over an attendance of 21 members. The credit balance was shown as £833 4r lid. Th» Canterbury A. and P. Association wrote stating th%t the dates of the annual ram and ewe fair would be March 20th and 81st. A further sum of 10s was contributed to the Wheat Tariff Protection Committee. Mr R. L. Jameson was appointed delegate to tbe Canterbury A. and P. Association's conference to be held at Christehurch on February Uth. Votes of thanks were accorded Mr H. Sharpe for his donation of the "Mossdale Cup" for competition in the halfbred seetion, and Mr A. Black for prizes for the new pony competition-classes. The secretary reported that contributions to the speelal prise fund were exceptionally good, especially from Christehurch and the Culverden district. A meeting of the Finance Committee to allot prises w»s arranged for Saturday erening, and the secretary stated that the schedule would be mailable about February 10th. It was decided to invite the Hon. G. W. Porbes to open the show. It was also decided to present threo previous winners of th# Patriotic Cup with miniature cups.
