MISSING AIRMEN.

RUSSIAN FLYERS TO ASSIST

IN SEARCH. (UNITED TRESS ASSOCIATION —BY ELECTRIC TELEGiUPH—COPYRIGHT.) (Received December 2Gth, 9.45 p.m.) MOSCOW 7 , December 25.

The Soviet Government has dispatched an aeroplane to search for the missing flyers, Eielson and Borland, who are lost off the Siberian coast, and has also ordered two other Soviet aeroplanes to aid in the work.

It is believed that ice in the vicinity will be too strong to permit of icebreakers being used in the rescue. The mission will be commanded by Shestakov, who has been here since his flight from Moscow to New York. He will use an aeroplane similar to the one in which he made his long flight.
