FAIRLIE.

The annua; rose and summer flower show in aid of St. Columba Presbyterian Church was held in Aorangi Hall on Friday. The weather was fair, though cold, with threatening rain. The entries were not to numerous as last year, the weather not hav. ing been favourable. A feature of the show was an exhibit of roses from Strothernan which was greatly admired by those present.
