MODEL YACHTING.
The Christchurch Mode! Yach.t Club tailed off the third and fourth heats of the club championship on Saturday at Victoria Lake. The wind blew fairly fr»sh from the nor'-east and nine boats competed, under the supervision of Mr J. L. RuxtoD. Results:— Third heat—A. Semmens's Dolphin 1, E. Hodee'a Kea 2, 0. B. Ekensteen's Pateena 3. W. S. Kingston's bans Atout 4, K. ilunro » Isa 5. Time, 26Jmin. Fourth heat—Dolphin 1. Sans Atout 2. F. Semmens's Tui 3, Kea 4, Pateena 5. Time, 27min. With half the race sailed, the leading; boats are Sans Atout 23 points. Dolphin and K*a 17 each, and Pateena 9. Two mora heats will be sailed next Saturday.
