NEW RADIANT HALL.

GRAND GALA OPENING. A distinguished opening is promised for Christchurch's latest intimate theatre and con'cert hall, the New Radiant Hall, -which, after many months' work, is now nearing completion. On Thursday of next week the opening of so fine a hall will be celebrated in a "Pot-Pourri of Music, Drama, nad Dance," presented by Mr C. A. Rendle for the Christchurch branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association. Rehearsals have proved the show- to be a brilliant success, well wo.-thy of the hall whose history it begins. The Radiant Hall was designed to seat 800 people. Acoustically and artistically, it represents the last word in theatre construction. The stage, 57 feet wide and 48 feet deep, ie better equipped than any in Christchurch. The "Pot-Pourri" must appeal to all theatrical tastes. The singers and dancers include some of Xew Zealand's finest amateur artists. Box plans will be open at Charles Begg'ond Co., Ltd., on Monday morning.
