A wedding of loeal interest took place in St. Michael's Church, Sefton, on Wednesday, when Bertha Constance, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs Walter Eder, of Saltwater Creek, was married to Francis Baden Powell, youngest son of Mrs and the late Mr Frank Powell. The Rev. Mr Chard officiated, and Mrs R. Hanna was organist. The church had been decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore an attractive frock of cream crepe de ehine, trimmed with lace and orange blossom, and a long tulle veil. She carried a beautiful bouquet of spring flowers. She was attended by her sisters, Misses Mrbel and Ruby Eder, who wore effective dresses of apricot crepe ie chine with black hats trimmed with apricot. They carried bouquets to tone. Two little flower-girls, Muriel Booth (niece of the bridegroom) and Joyce Eder (niece of the bride), wore dainty shell pink erepe de chine frilled frocks and large pink bows in their hair. They carried baskets of artificial flowers with white streamers. Mr R. G. Lang (cousin of the bridegroom) attended as best man, and Mr Erie Eder, brother of the bride, was groomsman. As the bride left the church she was presented with silver horseshoes by Shirley Hales and Kathie Eder. After the eeremony a reception was held in the Rink Hall, Sefton, when about one hundred and fifty guests were entertained. In the evening a soeial was held at the residence of the bride's parents at Saltwater Creek, when music for dancing was supplied by Mrs Shea.
