Stevenson, single, aged 35, employed by the Public Works Department, used benzine in mistake for kerosene when lighting a heating stove in the office at WarkworthHe was thrown some distance and enveloped in flames. Praetically all his clothing was burnt off his body before other employees could give help. He was removed to the Warkworth Hospital in a serious condition.
