Nadir Khan claims a spectacular vietory at Tirah over Habibullah's troops. It is believed he is advancing on Kabul immediately. Meanwhile, Habibullah is not idle. With full knowledge of the increased support available, his enemies are adopting innumerable inducements to tribesmen to capture the leaders of the opposing forces and are enduring iron aia* cipline and great hardships. The British authorities are again experiencing the greatest difficulties in preventing the tribesmen on the British side of the frontier from participating in the Afghan civil war.—United Service. GIRLS KIDNAPPED IN INDL4. (Received September 26th, 10.45 p.m.) DELHI, September 26. The Administration's report on the United Provinces of India declares that more girls were kidnapped last year than ever before. The hill girls are in great demand, especially in the Punjab. —United Service.
