The New Zealand Association in New South Wales celebrated Dominion Day by tendering a luncheon to the Premier (Mr Bavin) and the Consular Corps. The president, Dr. Purdy, proposed the toast of "The Dominion," to which the Government agent (Mr W. It, Blow) responded. He gave a few facts illustrating the wonderful progress made by New Zealand sinco her first colonisation. Mr Bavih and Sir Henry Braddofl also epoke eulogistically of the Dominion, and urged a greater interchange of visits and of til# ideas between tile peoples of the two countries.—Australian Press Association.
