SOCIAL AND PERSONAL. Mrs W. Fea, Klizabeth street, has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs C. \V. Webber, Kitchener square, will stay in Geraldine for a few weeks. Mr and Mrs H. O. Campbell (Dunedin), who have been staying at Beverley House, have returned home. Miss Joan Mating, who has been the guest of Miss M. Loughnan (Fairlie), has returned to Timaru. Mr* G. Kingston, Grey road, has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs Priest, Bank street, is at present staying in Christchurtii Mrs R. H. Rhodes. "Carne," Sealv street, and Mrs A. B. Martin (Marlborough) left yesterday for Christchurch , „ Mrs M. G. Bruce, Seddon street, left yesterday for Christchurch. Mrs C. Hayter (D'Urville Island), who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs F. J. Rolleston, LeCren's terrace, has returned home. Mrs Sheldon, Nelson terrace, left yesterday for Christchurch. Guests at the Grosvenor Hotel include: Mesdames Walter Macfarlane CCulverden), S. Douglas (Ethelton), R. Dawson (Dunedin), A. Langley (Palmerston North), Mr and Mrs Tomkins (Green Island), Misses Tomkins (2) (Green Island). Mr and Mrs G. Hartshorn (Christchurch), Messrs G. M. Julius (Christchurch), 'R. Gregory (Christchurch), R. Bauchop (Tokonui), and S. Wood (Dunedin).
