PACIFIC RELATIONS.
BRITISH DELEGATES SAIL FOR CONFERENCE. (BRITISH OCTICUI. WTRELBSS.) (Received September 10th, 7.10 p.m.) RUGBY, September 15. Lord and Lady Bhilsham left Southampton yesterday for Japan. Lord Hailsham is chairman of the British delegation to the biennial oonferenoe of the Institute of Pacific Relations, several members of which sailed on the same liner, including Mr Malcolm MaoDonald, M.P., the son of the Prime Minister. The conference is being held at Kyoto, Japan, on October 28th, and will last for twelve days. It will be attended by 180 delegates representing Japan, China, Australia. New Zealand, and the United States. International relations and problems of interest affecting countries bordering on the Pacific will be discussed.
