DEATH FROM EXHAUSTION.
{PRESS ASSOCXiHOK TZUIGIUM.) NEW PLYMOUTH, September 13. Death from shock following collapse from exhaustion was the verdict givfen by the Coroner, Mr W. L. Kennedy, J.P., of Stratford, this morning, at the adjourned enquiry into the death of William Clement Allen, aged 21, son of Mr C. W. Allen, of Hawera, who collapsed and died on Mount Egmont on Sunday afternoon while tramping between the North Egmont and Stratford houses. A companion named Groombridge went to Egmont House for help, which was speedily sent, but Allen was dead.
