The mateh will be betwen Sydenham and Addmgton and as both teams are confident of success, a good contest should result. Addmgton will be weakened "by the absence of their captain, J. Sanders, who was injured in the North v. South Island match. J. Amos, who played a fine game in Auckland last week, will be in his old position. Stuart will play at centre with Henderson and Stapley on the wings. With Peddie at half and O'Connell at full-back, it should be quite a good back division. The forwards are an even lot aad should get • fair share of the ball. Sydenham will field the same side which defeated Marist last Saturday, and are quite corf, dent that they will carry off the shield. The spectators are assured of some bright football. ASSOCIATION. ENGLISH CUP. Both Sumner and Rangers will be strongly represented in the English Cup match at English Park to-day. The knock-out competition is being resumed after the interruption caused by the representative fixtures. The previous meeting of the teams in this competition ended in a draw—two goals each—which points to the even merits of the teams. As both are determined to demonstrate their superiority, a fast and exciting game is certain to ensue. At 1.15 p.m. the fourth grade final knock-out between Nomads and Western will be played as a curtain-raiser. 1
