TELEPHONE EXCHANGE.

All pronouncements m regard to the progress of the work are now made by the Postmaster-General (Hon. Mr Donald). It is evident that the change-over is now not many months ahead, for the Public Works Department is calling for tenders, closing on August 6th, for certain internal alterations and additions which have been decided upon in view of the impending improvements to the service.
