. ♦ COMMUNISTS SENT TO GAOL. CONSTANTINOPLE, July 17. The trial of 36 Communist* accused of disseminating Communist propaganda and attempting to undermine the existing regime in Turkey resulted in 26 being sentenced to four and a half years' imprisonment each.—Australian Press Association. AERIAL MEDICAL SERVICE. GENEVA. July 17. When a number 6f amendments were introduced to the text of the Geneva Convention, Mr Raymond, New Zealand, urged that a greater measure of protection should be provided for aerial medical services.
