DEDICATION OF BELL.

CEREMONY AT CHRIST'S COLLEGE. The dedication of the new bell at Christ's College, erected in memory of the late G. D. Pascoe, took place at the college yesterday afternoon. The bell has been placed in position at the west end of the Chapel, and the ceremony was held in the quadrangle nearby. The warden of the college (the Right Rev. the Bishop ot Christchurch) performed the iedication, and the service was a short and impressive one. It opened with the singing of the hymn '"O, God. Our Help ni Ages Past" by the choir, tlie school, and the visitors. Thfe bell was then dedicated. Prayers were said by the Bishop and the headmaster, followed by the boys in their own school prayer. The Bishop then gave his blessing, and the service was ended.
