Pressure is relatively low over New Zealand, with little variation from place to place. A moderate anti-cyclone ia crossing the North Tasrnan, but a vigorous depressioa ie centred near Tasmania. Present indications are for moderate to fresh southerly winds, shortly becomins variable and later tending northerly; still a considerable swell on the Eaet Coast, but moderating, and eeae otherwisa smooth to moderate; light to moderate south-west to ■westerly -winds in ibe eastern Tasrnan, later veering to northerlies and freshening; the weather sti',l shower? in scattered places, hut
