EMPLOYEES ON COMMITEES.
CITY COUNCIL DECISION. . In a clause in its report dealing with the City Council's decision to allow its employees representation on the various committees, the Reserves Committee reported last niglit that it had instructed the Superintendent of Keserves to advise the employees of the Reserves Department to appoint a representative in accordance vrith the terms of the Council *s resolution, such employee to liold himself in readiness should he be required to attend any meeting of the committee. The employees had also been notified that should they wish to bring any matter before the committee they might do so 'through their representative, provided the superintendent was first informed iu writing of the matter which it was proposed to bring forward. The report was adopted.
