NEW OPERA HOUSE.
Few could fail to appreciate and enjoy the excellent change of programme, entitled ""Village Lads," presented by the well-known comedian, George Wallace, and his talented revue company at the New Opera House on Monday night. The theatre packed, and from start to finish there was not a dull moment to bo spent. The programme, as those familiar with George Wallace might well expect, was clever and original, while the genial comedian himself kept the audience well amused with his many tricks of humour. The second part of tho programme consists «►( a sketch, excellently done. The entertainment is revuo. which means that it is without plot or plan—nothing to put ehackloa •n the exuberant inventiveness of Mr Watlace and hie merry company. There ia •very sort of act in the medley—ballets, K>n«rs, saxophone and other music, and a host of mirth provoking jest? and frolics which" nobody would try to classify.
