ENTOMOLOGY.
LECTURESHIP TO BE ESTABLISHED. A lectureship in entomology will be established at Canterbury College, provided suitable arrangements can be :nrnlc between the College and Lincoln College. The Agricultural College has already informed the University College that it would be willing to co operate in securing the services of a lecturer in entomology, and would contribute approximately £250 towards his salary, provided that his services were made available to Lincoln two days weekly. Canterbury College has not pivec this proposal its considered opinion, but Dr. H. G. Denhain, reporting a', yesterday's meeting of the Lincoln College Board, said that the suggestion was viewed quite favourably, provided details could be adjusted.
