Hie idea of the tour originated in an invitation from Mr E. V. Dunbar, an old Victoria College man in Sydney, who* invited Victoria College to send a team. Victoria College made all the preliminary arrangements, but suggested that the tour should include all the New Zealand University Colleges and offered to hand over the arrangements to the National Union of Students which 'tvas formed at Easter. The Victoria College authorities then acted as a sub-committeo of the National Union of Students. Mr Dunbar will manage the team, with Mr E. B. E. Taylor as his assistant. Mr Taylor will also be the National Union of Students' representative. O. Morgan (Auckland) is now definitely unavailable. He won the 100 yards and ran second in the 220 yards at the recent Easter tournament. The National Union of Students hopes that the Australian Universities will make in return a New Zealand tour next year. This tour would have to be carried out shortly after Easter.
