MOTORIST INJURED.

COLLISION WITH TRAM-CAR. (PBISS ASSOCIATION THJKJBAK.) WELLINGTON, May 17. A terrific crash between a motor-car driven by William Boy Hill and a tramcar, occurred in Molesworth street last evening. Hill, who resides at Pitt street, was accompanied by two women passengers, and was proceeding up Molesworth street from the city when his car struck a city-bound tram-car. The impact was a violent one, the motor-car being badly smashed and the running board torn off the tram-car. Hill was found to be suf fering from a compound fracture of the skull and wounds on the face. He was unconscious. His companions received minor cuts and suffered shock. Shortly after midnight Hill was semiconscious, and his condition was not regarded as serious.
