The two Ministers, Mr Stopford and Mr Kirwan, whose scats were threatened all the week, are now slightly leading and are gaining steadily. The new Ministry takes control next week. The resignation of the Labour Minis try was tendered by the Premier, Mr McCormack, to the Deputy-Governor, and later Mr Moore, leader of the Nationalist-Country Party, was commissioned to form a Government.— Australian Press Associatic .
