The secretary of the New Zealand Council of the Koyal Life Saving Society, Mr F. J. Lawrence Scott, haa received wop} horn England that the Society ip England ha* just completed • remarkable season, having 1 sbfed no less than 50.000 awards during the season. By the same mail the Council has received a die for tastini medals bearing an imprint of the head of tha late William Henry, tha founder of the Society. The riedola are to be used in connexion with the William Henry Memorial trophy—the four-man New Zealand #urf rescue ehampionehip.
