Witness pressed iiincn for statements of the state of their transactions at various times. o\n Hinch put him off and said the proWs had been put back into the business, having represented that the money hart been used to buv shares in the Zealand Commercial Association. The hearing of tlje case for the prosecution occupied all day, and the Court continued to-night, adjourning at a late hour until, to-morrow, when the defence will be heard.
