Present indications aro for moderate to strong north to west winds, reaching gale force at times south "of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, rough south of Cape Egmont, rather rough north of Cape Egmont and south of Castlepoint, and moderate north of Castlepoint; fresh to strong north to west winds in the Tasman, with moderate seas in the northern portion and rather rough to rough
in the central and southern; the weather unsettled and changeable generally, with showers at times in most districts, and heavy in the western and southern portions of the South Island; moderate temperatures.
